SICS (Short-Term)

The Small Incision Cataract Surgery training programme is aimed at experienced ophthalmologists who wish to acquaint themselves with this technique of cataract surgery. Small Incision Cataract Surgery offers high quality, low cost surgery and it is extensively performed in low-resource settings.

It is our belief that surgeons who would like to master phacoemulsification cataract surgery need to be experienced in this technique of cataract surgery. This training programme design can be customized according to the skill level of a trainee without compromising training quality and surgery outcomes.
