Children experience a variety of eye problems, many quite distinct from adult eye diseases. They usually don’t complain of defective vision.

Some clues of a child developing defective vision are:

  • poor performance at school.
  • watching TV at close quarters.
  • squinting or blinking of eyes frequently.
  • complaining of headache and.
  • squeezing of eyes when looking at distant objects.

If you see any of these signs in your child, you should be consulting a pediatric ophthalmologist.
