Arasan Eye Hospital works closely with District Blindness Control Society (DBCS) of India working under The National Program for Control of Blindnessakes active role in the society’s activities and. We serve as a key partner in combating needless blindness in its service area.

It is our mandate to design and offer training programmes to eye care personnel at different professional levels globally. In addition and wedevelop and implement efficient and sustainable eye care programmes.

Arasan’s training programmes are intended not only for ophthalmologists but also for mid-level ophthalmic personnel. Arasan collaboratingcollaborates with Bharathiar University’s Centre for Collaboration of Industry and Institutions (CCII), in offering an Advanced Diploma in Ophthalmic Care Management.

For this no-cost two-year diploma program, two female students who have graduated from 12thstandard are selected. SSF provides them free board and lodging and, at the end of the course, they are offered a one-year internship with stipend.
